I was tagged by to do this meme thing.  I pick six of my original characters and have them answer various questions.  Here you go!

I picked Josiah ([link]), Niahlah ([link]), Melisande ([link]), Ginger ([link]), Ashia (Ginger's sister: I don't have a picture of her), and Alma ([link]).


-How old are you?

Josiah: "I'd... prefer not to say."

Niahlah: "I'm twenty-two."

Melisande: "Eighteen, here."

Ginger: "I'm fourteen!"

Ashia: "I'm eight!  Going on nine!"

Alma: "I'm... um... eighty-four.  Though I appear twelve."


-Species and gender?

Josiah: "I'm human, and male."

Niahlah: "I'm a 'beastman' (or in my case, beastwoman). Or at least
that's what they call me in my world.  A human with characteristics of an animal... in my case, a cat.

Melisande: "I'm also a beastwoman.  I'm part fennec fox."

Ginger: "I'm a female cattaur."

Ashia: "Well, duh, I'm also a female cattaur.  I'm Ginger's sister, after all."

Alma: "Human... well, if you can call a vampire 'human.'"


-You got any bad habits?

Josiah: "I tend to be a little domineering.  I often want things to go just my way."

Niahlah: "Of course not. I'm perfect."

Josiah: "I wouldn't argue with her, folks."

Melisande: "No comment."

Ginger: "I guess I'm a little over-eager to do dangerous things.  I've gotten in trouble by running off by myself during hunts before."

Ashia: "Um... well... I guess... gee, I don't know."
Ginger raises her hand.  "She's a little sneak, that's what she is.  Always sneaking into places she doesn't belong.  Plus, she eats anything she can fit in her mouth."

Ashia: "Hey!"

Alma: "I kill people and steal their blood.  I'm a monster." She hides in a corner.


-Any other names or nicknames?

Josiah: "I have been called the 'strongest man in the world.'  But that's another story.  I don't believe it anyway."

Niahlah: "Hm... not really.  I'm usually just 'Niahlah.'"

Melisande.  "No."

Josiah interjects.  "We call her 'Mel.'  She doesn't like it, though."

Melisande: "You're damn right I don't!"  She punches Josiah in the back of the head.

Ginger: "Um... nope.  Just Ginger.

Ashia: "Same here."

Alma is still hiding in the corner.


-You a virgin?

Josiah: "Um... no."

Niahlah: "Of course not!  Why, are you trying to suggest we do something?"

Melisande: "Actually... yes, I am.  Why, want to make something of it!?"

Ginger blushes. "No.  Definitely not."

Ashia: "What's a virgin?  Does this have something to do with what I caught you and Theron doing, Ginger?"

Ginger blushes even brighter.  "Just drop it, Ashia."

Ashia: "Aw, man."

Alma: "N, no... I'm not..."


-Who's your mate/spouse/lover?

Josiah: "No comment."

Niahlah: "Anyone who'll treat me right."

Melisande: "Don't have one."

Ginger: "In our culture, we don't really have a single 'mate.'  There is a male named Theron that I suppose could be considered my 'lover.'"

Ashia: "Don't have one.  I'm only eight, after all!"

Alma: "Well... I guess my familiar, Cilly.  We have the occasional fun."

A small, white-furred ferret pokes her head out of Alma's shoulder-bag. "Yup! I love my Alma-chan!" Cilly climbs up onto Alma's head and sighs, relaxing happily.


-Have any kids?

Josiah: "No."

Niahlah: "No."

Melisande: "Heavens, no!"

Ginger: "No... not yet.  But I have one on the way, actually."

Niahlah: "Ginger, you're pregnant?"

Ginger nods.

Niahlah: "But... you're only fourteen!"

Ginger: "In our culture, we're considered to be 'adults' at thirteen years old."

Ashia: "I can't wait 'til I have a little niece or nephew!"

Alma: "No, no kids.  Actually, I'm not entirely sure vampires can even have kids..."

Cilly: "Well, it's not like we can't try, right?  Oh, but that would involve a boy, wouldn't it..."  She gives a little sigh.


-Favorite Food?

Josiah: "I'm a big fan of a well-cooked steak."

Niahlah: "I like all kinds of stuff.  I love to try new things."

Melisande shudders, and doesn't answer.

Ginger: "Give me some good venison, any day."

Ashia: "Cake!  Especially the white cake that Josiah makes!"

Alma: "Blood, of course.  It's basically the only thing that my digestive system can handle.  Although I also like..." Alma blushes.  "N, nevermind..."

Cilly pulls a cute pair of panties out.  "Dessert?" she asks, giggling, hanging it in front of Alma.

Alma blushes.  "C, Cilly!"


-Killed anyone?

Josiah: "I must confess that I have, unfortunately."

Niahlah: "I try to avoid it, but I have had to fight my way out of dangerous situations before.  It's a dangerous world we live in."

Melisande: "I have... especially when I have one of my 'episodes.'"

Ginger: "One, that I'm aware of.  It was while I was on my first hunt."

Ashia: "Nope!"

Alma: "Yes.  Too many times."

Cilly just licks her lips.


-Hate anyone?

Josiah: "I try to avoid hating anybody.  Keeping an objective mindset, and trying to see things from others' persectives, is the key to getting along with people."

Niahlah: "I hate men who see women as objects."

Melisande: "I hate everybody."

Ginger: "Nah, I don't hate anyone.  Although sometimes Ashia can get kind of annoying..."

Ashia: "Aw, you don't mean that.  Besides, we're sisters: we're supposed to hate each other!"

Alma: "Myself..."

Cilly looks down at Alma, a bit shocked.  "Alma!" she yells, "Don't say that!"


-What is your job?

Josiah: "I work as a mercenary now, though I have been trained as a doctor, and occasionally find work in that respect."

Niahlah: "I'm an alchemist, and run a small shop where I sell potions and the like.  I get quite a bit of business, actually."

Melisande: "I don't have a job.  I live by myself in the desert, and I catch my own food."

Ginger: "I'm part of my village's hunting party."

Ashia: "I'm not allowed to hold a job until I'm thirteen years old.  Then I'll do something to help the village."

Alma: "No, no job.  People think I'm a little kid, after all."

Cilly: "And people think I'm a ferret!"


-What do you do to relax?

Josiah: "I love to take long walks in the woods, or sit down with a good book."

Niahlah: "I mix potions.  I know that doesn't seem like something that would relax you, but it feels good to be doing something that I KNOW I can do well."

Melisande: "I never relax.  Ever."

Ginger: "I like to just hang out and talk with Theron, or one of my other friends.  Of course, with Theron, sometimes it goes farther than 'just talking.'"

Ashia: "I like to hang around and bug Ginger!"

Alma: "I bury myself alive.  You heard me."

Cilly: "And I bury myself in her!"


-Ever eaten a person before?

Josiah: "I'm not one for eating people... but it has happened, on occasion."

Niahlah: "When I think I can get away with it."

Melisande nods.  "Yes.  I would prefer to avoid it, but sometimes I have 'episodes' when I lose control and attack people."

Ginger: "Just once.  I caught a human when I was out on my first hunt."

Ashia: "I would love to try it, but there's no way I could get a whole person down.  I'm not big enough yet."

Alma: "Does drinking someone's blood count as eating them?"

Cilly: "What about Amy?  She slid right down with that pair of panties!"

Alma: "Oh yeah, I forgot about that..."


-Who is your LEAST favorite person?

Josiah: "Like I said, I try not to hate anyone.  I don't know if I have a least favorite person."

Niahlah: "There's a man who kidnapped me once.  I don't like him.  At all.  But we don't need to go into this story here."

Melisande: "I think I agree with Niahlah.  That guy's a bastard."

Ginger: "That soldier who almost killed my sister."

Ashia: "I love everybody!  I guess that guy who almost killed me would be pretty low on my list, though..."

Alma: "Myself..."

Cilly: "Aaaaalmmaaa!  Stop beating yourself up!"

Alma: "But... but... I'm a monster..."

Cilly: "No, you're just like anyone else.  You've gotta eat to live, and so do I?  You wouldn't call me a monster, right?"

Alma: "N, no, but... I'm the one who kills people..."

Cilly: "You still don't have a choice.  It's like people eating pigs and cows.  They've got to in order to live."

Alma: "I... I guess you're right...."  She looks unconvinced.

Cilly: "And you're my Alma, so I don't want to see you unhappy!"

"Yeah, I guess so..." Alma still looks unsure.  

Cilly giggles and dives down into Alma's pants.

Alma lets out a yelp. "Hey!"  With Cilly giggling and squirming around in her pants, Alma runs off.


And thus end the questions.  Cilly is 's character, though she's always paired with Alma.  We actually roleplayed all the back and forth dialog between Cilly and Alma here, so I wasn't controlling any of Cilly's responses.
